From the Red Onion Saloon in Skagway Alaska to Lee’s Unleaded on Chicago’s Southside; or down at Paul Raymond’s old Soho review bar, and on to the main stage at Colne’s Great British R&B Festival, this band of musicians have fully matured with skill, dedication and craft.
Apprenticed alongside the masters, playing with blues grandees like Fenton Robinson, Charlie Musselwhite, Lefty Diz, Miss Cubie, Roscoe Gordon, Lazy Lester, Lurrie Bell, or Pete Special, they’ve learned how to improvise and innovate within the blues tradition. And that has yielded results.
