Sunday Blues Jam with Bowie, Beak and Powney

Lead by John Bowie, one of the UK’s best Electric Guitarists, with the phenomenal Beak Davidson on Bass and the highly renowned John Powney on drums. BBP are Cumbria’s super trio. From the finest covers of Jimi Hendrix & Stevie-Ray Vaughn through to mind-blowing renditions of classic blues, these guys are not to be missed. It’s going to be a blast!
On the first Sunday of every month we run a blues jam from 4 to 7:30pm. A different band hosts the session each month, where they kick off with their own short set, before getting musicians up to jam with them. All musicians are welcome, whether you want to front the band or join in with the rhythm section, the choice is yours and the possibilities are endless! Entry is free for musicians getting up to play.
