Monthly Blues Jam – with the Thieving Magpies
February 4 / 4:00 pm – 7:30 pm
On the first Sunday of every month we run a blues jam from 4 to 7:30pm. A different band hosts the session each month, where they kick off with their own short set, before getting musicians up to jam with them. All musicians are welcome, whether you want to front the band or join in with the rhythm section, the choice is yours and the possibilities are endless! Entry is free for musicians getting up to play and £5 for audience members.
The Thieving Magpies are one of Cumbria’s busiest and most popular bands, putting their own spin on classic rock, rhythm and blues with a whole lot of jamming in between. Lead by Paul Harrison, on vocals and lead guitar, with Alan Whitmore on Keyboards, Robbie Jay Coplin on bass and Jake Dakin on drums.
