Disco in aid of restoring Severn our historic yacht

Disco in aid of the restoration and future maintenance of Severn, a yacht which was built in Arnside by Crossfields for the Royal Mersey Yacht Club in 1912. Severn was brought by the Sailing Club in 2018 to have an example of a boat built by Crossfields and is currently being restored by David Moss Boatbuilders at Skippool near Blackpool. Crossfields were leading builders of Morecambe Bay Prawners and yachts from the 1840s to 1940s and were involved in development of the village. DJ David Brown will playing records from 60s onwards. Should be a great night.
