Hadrians Union

Hadrian’s Union are a contemporary four-piece folk rock band based in the borderlands between England and Scotland. Hadrian’s Union was founded in 2007 by lead singer and songwriter Stew Simpson.

Over the years, the bands musical styles have continued to evolve. They are a predominantly a folk – rock band but their interests in many genres of music has led to experimentation with Ska, Jazz, Blues, Bluegrass and so much more.

HU have released 3 albums, ‘Trapped in Time’, ‘In Your Own Time’ and ‘Aural Borderalis’. All to critical acclaim with the most recent release being awarded 5 star reviews in such publications as the EFDSS (English Folk Dance and Song Society) magazine.
